Community Event, Bledlow Ridge Village Hall, 15th November 2023. 19.30 to 21.00

I recently spoke to Julie Stringfellow about booking the village hall. We started to discuss the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) on the wall of Bledlow Ridge Village Hall and the sad events leading up to its arrival. Where a young Mother did not survive a cardiac arrest and her family bought Defibrillators for the local area. One being given to Bledlow. At the time, there was huge interest, and at a talk about using the AED many people attended. In the intervening years, people have come and gone in the village, and a refresher about this important piece of lifesaving equipment is probably long overdue. So Julie and I thought it would be nice to have a refresher. On the 15th November 2023 at 19.30 at Bledlow Ridge Village Hall, Chinnor Rd, Bledlow Ridge, we would like to share the simple skills needed when someone needs them most.

Full and part time opportunities available

Are you interested in putting your HCPC registered paramedic experience to good use, supporting local GP surgeries with vital patient services? Working Monday to Friday (or just selected days each week) and between the hours of 9 and 5? With excellent support and development?

We are Invenio Medical Services, established ten years ago to provide training and professional clinical support to primary care. We’ve experienced regular growth and need qualified paramedics to offer wider services to GP surgeries and their communities in the High Wycombe and surrounding areas.

You’ll join an awesome and hard-working peer group with relevant experience from prehospital, primary and urgent care. They all share a common aim; to provide the highest standards of clinical and medical support through the provision of telephone triage, face to face consultations and face-to-face home visits.

You will bring an established medical career, probably reaching Band 6 or 7, and having demonstrated independence but still the ability to work and contribute as part of a team. A good level of IT literacy will mean you can quickly focus on the more important aspects of the role, namely your commitment to premium patient care.

HCPC registered, with at least 12 months post registration, you need a full driving licence and your own vehicle, and if not already an enhanced DBS check, be happy to apply via us. Prescribing would be beneficial but not necessary.

We offer a highly competitive salary with bonus scheme, training allowance, introduce a friend scheme, and 28 days of paid holiday (FTE) plus bank holidays off. Ongoing, there's excellent support and development opportunities as we continue to grow.
