A Day at the Races

Kempton Park Race Course today with ERS for an afternoon of flat racing.

No winners for me but the fantastic weather more than made up for it.  A busy day with 8 races, made all the easier for working with a great team of professionals providing medical cover for the crowd, horse walk (where the horse parade before the race and the winners after the race) and out on the race course with the chase vehicles.

No incidents, everyone went home happy particularly one person who won a substantial £17000 on one race, not bad for a Sunday flutter.

Bucks Fizz

An early start through hail, floods and wind brought me to Buckingham where at the Best Western Hotel I met members of Bucks Fizz, not I hasten to add the Eurovision Song Contest Winners of 1981, but an award winning group none the less of like minded professionals who support each other through networking.

They made me feel extremely welcome and after a hearty breakfast, the members promoted their businesses and shared ideas for development and opportunities.

Please follow their link for more information.

On my first visit I even had three referrals for possible customers, well worth the inclement weather.

I would like to thank everyone for welcoming me this morning.
