First Aid at Work training completed at MK Stadium, home of MK Dons.  Always a pleasure working with a motivated team and amazing facilities for scenarios.

We've also completed training at BCA college for staff and outdoor education students.

New clients include South Bucks hospice providing a suite of training for volunteers and staff.

Back to primary care tomorrow, with pre-hospital shifts at the weekend keeping skills current.

Looking forward to next week, with some CPD in London on a minor injury course.   Recently competed COPD and vaccination training.  Everyday is a schools day.

First Aid Training, Event Cover and Other Adventures

We have been very busy the last few months.  From a personal perspective recent training courses including minor illness, COPD and minor injury have up skilled instructors to not only have a deeper knowledge when delivering first aid training but allowed us to work in primary care gaining more skills and experience.

Recent clients have included Riding for Disabled Association, the National Trust, NHS, Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Hearing Dogs, Dogs for Good, John Hampden Grammar School, Salvus, Forestry Commission, Beaconfest with work in North Wales and Chamonix.  As well as maintaining commitment to Pre-hospital Emergency Care.

Future courses include National Nature Reserves, BCA, NHS and the Walled Garden.

We have been very fortunate to have provided medical cover for the National Trust at their 1940s weekend and Bradenham Bolt.

 

Paediatric First Aid for Child Care Professionals

We have been working with BCA training their Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years and Health and Social Care students in Paediatric First Aid and Emergency Paediatric First Aid.

Our ongoing relationship with BCA included a First Aid At Work Refresher with college staff and we are particularly looking forward to working with their apprentices in the near future.

Dates are soon to be released for the return of Emergency First Aid at Work plus Forestry courses over the summer.

We also completed day one of an Outdoor First Aid Course at Wycombe Abbey Girls School and a Basic Life Support and AED course for Health Care Professionals at a local surgery.

Looking ahead trainers have CPD training for continued compliance and a busy Easter weekend working in pre hospital emergency care.

Outdoor First Aid Course

Due to popularity of our courses we have an additional two day, 16 hour Outdoor First Aid course  on the 26th and 27th May.  It will be based at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, Saunderton, Buckinghamshire and will make the most of the Chiltern Hills and AONB.

We have been providing training recently for NHS GP surgeries, event cover for a series of classical music concerts and to ensure our ongoing professionalism our trainers continue to maintain their CPD and frontline accident and emergency work.

It has been an exciting start to the New Year.  Due to the qualifications and expertise of our trainers we can now deliver a range of advanced clinical courses to complement our First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid courses.

New courses include First Response Emergency Care, the Administration of Medical Gases (Oxygen & Entonox), Management of Medications and later in the year we will be bringing First Bike of Scene into our portfolio, a training course designed for motorcyclists.

Our Emergency First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid, Healthcare Professional Basic Life Support and AED courses continue to be popular.  Our Forestry courses are continuing to grow in popularity, we are now approved suppliers to the National Trust and Forestry Commission.

This year our clients have included The Horse Trust, NHS, The Walled Garden, Wycombe Wanderers Football Club, the Young Farmers and the Berkshire College of Agriculture as well as many individuals.
