First Aid Training
#firstaidtraining
Today I ran a first aid course in Towersey, Oxfordshire.
The course was organised by Jo Horne a member of BNI and owner of Sound4Vision .
We had plenty of characters to keep everyone amused and lots of opportunity for learning.
I would like to offer a huge thank you to Jo who supplied a lovely lunch for everyone.

AED Refresher at Claire Foundation
#firstaidtraining
It's that time of year again, annual AED refresher training with the staff of the Claire Foundation in Buckinghamshire.
They also updated me on the amount of times they had had to use the first aid skills learned in an earlier training course with me. Quite a few on all accounts.

Emergency First Aid At Work with Dogs for Good
#firstaidatwork
Off to Banbury today to work with Dogs for Good.
Their new training room is excellent which opened in February. It's a good size room, kitchen and rest area, ideal for training people and to use as a training area for dogs.
The team are really close which made teaching today a lot of fun.

A very pleasant evening spent with a group of diverse and interesting people with a common love of dogs.
Everyone either worked with or is going to work with other people's dogs. To show a level of professionalism and commitment they enrolled on a canine first aid course.
Patch our little dog was worn out after the session.

The weather was perfect this weekend for our outdoor first aid course with staff from John Hampden Grammar School and a blast from the past one of my students from the level 3 outdoor eduction course from BCA College.

Looking ahead we have three first aid courses, two A&E shifts and I have a day of learning too.

Five Stars from Defaqto
#firstaidtraining
Defaqto are very proactive and look after their staff, with regular well-being weeks.
Well-being weeks are where workshops and training are provided on various subjects.
I have been attending their well-being weeks over the last year. To date I have run first aid and safer driving presentations.
Today I did a short presentation on Allergies and Anaphylaxis. Everyone was very receptive and enjoyed the workshop.

Final Day at Hughendon Manor with the National Trust
#firstaidtraining
What an amazing day, the weather just got better and the team of Rangers should really be on the stage.
Slipping easily into character, our scenarios were made very real with everyone's acting abilities.
We made the exercises relevant to the work environment focusing on situations people could find themselves in.
