Outdoor First Aid In The Chilterns

#outdoorfirstaid

Cracking two day outdoor first aid course in the Chiltern hills.  We were lucky with weather, managing to dodge the worse of the rain.

Participants included ski leaders and experience hill walkers, everyone enjoyed themselves particularly the practical scenarios.

Next course in February,  visit website for more details.

Crossroads Veterinary Surgery for Salvus

#firstaidtraining

Today I covered an EFAW course at Crossroads Veterinary Surgery in High Wycombe for Salvus Consultancy.  Crossroads is a popular Vets, even receiving nominations for the veterinary awards 2015.

Really cracking group with very good sense of humour and an interest in first aid.

It's been a busy week with front line A&E, RTC's due to icy road conditions featured heavily.  Make sure you drive to the road conditions and give yourself plenty of time.

Looking ahead day two of Hannah's Little Cherubs.

Hannahs Little Cherubs L3 Paed Day 1

#paediatricfirstaid

Good to be back at Hannah's Little Cherubs, really great first day covering BLS, choking and bleeding.

All the staff are enjoying the training and getting involved with scenarios.

It always looks fun and nice for kids, lots of little nooks and crannies to hide and play in.

Day 2 is next weekend covering off breaks, sprains, strains and childhood illnesses.

In between, three A&E shifts, a day training for Salvus and an admin day.
