Today I ran a first aid course in Towersey, Oxfordshire.
The course was organised by Jo Horne a member of BNI and owner of Sound4Vision .
We had plenty of characters to keep everyone amused and lots of opportunity for learning.
I would like to offer a huge thank you to Jo who supplied a lovely lunch for everyone.

It's that time of year again, annual AED refresher training with the staff of the Claire Foundation in Buckinghamshire.
They also updated me on the amount of times they had had to use the first aid skills learned in an earlier training course with me. Quite a few on all accounts.

Off to Banbury today to work with Dogs for Good.
Their new training room is excellent which opened in February. It's a good size room, kitchen and rest area, ideal for training people and to use as a training area for dogs.
The team are really close which made teaching today a lot of fun.

A very pleasant evening spent with a group of diverse and interesting people with a common love of dogs.
Everyone either worked with or is going to work with other people's dogs. To show a level of professionalism and commitment they enrolled on a canine first aid course.
Patch our little dog was worn out after the session.

The weather was perfect this weekend for our outdoor first aid course with staff from John Hampden Grammar School and a blast from the past one of my students from the level 3 outdoor eduction course from BCA College.
The majority of our time was spent outside using the surrounding Chilterns as our classroom and to make realistic scenario's to reinforce learning.
Looking ahead we have three first aid courses, two A&E shifts and I have a day of learning too.

Defaqto are very proactive and look after their staff, with regular well-being weeks.
Well-being weeks are where workshops and training are provided on various subjects.
I have been attending their well-being weeks over the last year. To date I have run first aid and safer driving presentations.
Today I did a short presentation on Allergies and Anaphylaxis. Everyone was very receptive and enjoyed the workshop.

Working in the heart of Morse's stomping ground we're covering Lincoln College Ball.
We are working with Thames Valley Events who are providing the security.
Can't help but wonder if one of the revellers could be a future leader of our country.

Today I was teaching for Salvus Consultancy at BCC in Aylesbury.
Always a pleasure to visit the BCC offices, very nice group with a wealth of knowledge as we have two paramedics on the course.
To help BCC we are running the course over three weeks.

What an amazing day, the weather just got better and the team of Rangers should really be on the stage.
Slipping easily into character, our scenarios were made very real with everyone's acting abilities.
We made the exercises relevant to the work environment focusing on situations people could find themselves in.

Cracking weather, cracking group. We spent all of today in the woods around Hughendon Manor, putting into practice much of what we've learned over the last free days.
The group are very entertaining, making the course a lot of fun. Last day tomorrow.

It looks like being a fun and interesting week.
This week I'm working with Rangers from the local area, we're using Hughendon Manor and grounds for a First Aid At Work+Forestry course.
All the candidates are bringing a wealth of experience and good humour to the course.
